Since data is exchanged between the wristband and the reader at each transaction, the balance is known in two independent places – your server and the chip itself. HOW IT WORKS

An RFID (radio-frequency identification) wristband or card contains a memory chip with customer ticketing data and other information – like current balance for cashless payments. So starting right at the gate, the system provides value to event-goers, when their printed online tickets are exchanged for wristbands (or cards) and they can enter the event with much less waiting than usual. Each RFID wristband or tag has an antenna and chip. So when you scan your wristband to buy a T-shirt, the chip is powered up and an exchange of information is made – the chip sends identification and current balance, and the reader sends the price of the purchase to the chip. The balance is updated.

Entry points are coordinated through the central database in real time, but each entry scanner, if needed, can act independently, since all ticket information is uploaded to each scanner. During the event, any number of actions can be performed using the RFID device – entry to restricted areas, purchases, participation in promotions, etc. This information is all collected on local scanners and can be viewed in real time. You’ll see shortages of popular snacks or merchandise coming. And you’ll be tuned in to what attendees are doing like never before.
